Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley
National Weather Service La Crosse WI
335 PM CDT Fri May 26 2017

At mid afternoon, an area of showers was moving across southern
Wisconsin and northern Illinois, with some spotty showers noted
across northern Wisconsin. There was quite a variation in
temperatures, with readings ranging in the 60s to mid 70s, with even
some 80s across Iowa.

The low pressure system that has brought the showers and clouds will
move off to the east tonight, allowing for mostly clear skies and
dry weather. Low temperatures will range mostly in the 50s.

Another round of showers will move into the area Saturday afternoon
and then linger on and off into Sunday, with the main area expected
to be across northern Wisconsin by Sunday afternoon. Scattered rain
then returns for Memorial day, with best chances expected across the
northern sections of Wisconsin.

The highs on Saturday will range mostly in the 70s, with upper 60s
to lower 70s for Sunday. Temperatures for Memorial Day will be a
little cooler, with highs mostly in the 60s, though readings will
vary from the 50s across northern Wisconsin, to the 70s into central
Iowa.
