Skies were mostly clear across much of western Kansas as a line of
thunderstorms slowly moved southeast across the northern portions
of the state. Around an inch of rain fell in Ellis county with
localized higher amounts further north. Lows fell into the mid to
upper 60s and winds were light out of the south at around 5-10
mph.

An upper level disturbance will cross the Northern Plains today.
At the surface, a front will remain stalled across Wyoming and
Nebraska. Dry and quiet weather is expected across western Kansas
today before chances for storms move in again tonight and
tomorrow. Widespread severe weather is not expected tonight, but a
few isolated storms could have small hail and gusty winds.

Highs today will only reach the low to mid 90s today. Lows
tonight will range from the low to mid 60s in eastern Colorado
and extreme western Kansas to the upper 60s and lower 70s further
east.
