MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES WERE THE RULE ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS TODAY, WITH
TEMPERATURES BELOW NORMAL. HIGHS TODAY ONLY REACHED THE UPPER 20S TO
LOW 30S IN NORTHWEST KANSAS, WITH LOW TO MID 30S IN SOUTHWEST AND
CENTRAL KANSAS.

THE UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE TROUGH EXTENDING FROM THE GREAT LAKES
TO THE DESERT SOUTHWEST WILL MOVE OFF TO THE EAST OVERNIGHT, WHILE
ANOTHER UPPER LEVEL LOW DROPS INTO THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST. DEVELOPING
SURFACE LOW PRESSURE TROUGHING TO THE LEE OF THE ROCKIES WILL
STRENGTHEN INTO TOMORROW, AND EXPAND EASTWARD INTO WESTERN KANSAS BY
MID DAY. LITTLE ACTIVE WEATHER IS EXPECTED THROUGH TOMORROW, WITH
TEMPERATURES REMAINING BELOW NORMAL.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL DROP INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS ABOVE ZERO
IN NORTHEAST COLORADO AND NORTHWEST KANSAS, WITH LOW TO UPPER TEENS
ACROSS THE REST OF KANSAS. HIGHS TOMORROW WILL RANGE FROM THE LOW
30S IN NORTHEAST COLORADO AND NORTHWEST KANSAS, TO THE LOW 40S IN
SOUTHWEST THROUGH CENTRAL KANSAS.
