Weather Summary for Portions of the Central Plains

An upper level storm system working its way through the Southern
Plains will bring welcome rainfall to the area. Rain chances will
expand northward in coverage tonight and continue into Wednesday and
Wednesday night...before tapering off Thursday morning. Total
accumulations through Thursday morning are forecast to range from
around one half of an inch across the north to between one and a
half to 2 inches in the south. For Wednesday...along with the rain
chances...it looks to be a breezy day...with northerly winds between
15 and 25 mph. High temperatures on Wednesday are forecast to reach
the mid 40s. On Thursday...precipitation will be coming to an
end...with lighter northerly winds and high temperatures in the
lower to mid 50s.
