340 AM CDT Mon Oct 23 2017

Autumn will finally arrive in the Mid-South this week. An upper
level trough will remain over the middle portion of the country
for much of the upcoming week. As a result, much cooler
temperatures are expected with highs generally expected to be in
the 60s. There is a potential for frost development Tuesday Night
as lows drop down into the mid to upper 30s.

A cold front will move into the area on late Thursday Night into
Friday and will bring the next chance for rain. Even cooler
temperatures will occur behind this cold front. Highs next
weekend will only be in the 50s with the first freeze possibly
happening over portions of the area.
