Showers and thunderstorms are likely across much of the Mid-South
today. The abundance of precipitation and cloud cover in the area
will keep temperatures a bit cooler, with highs generally in the
mid to upper 80s. Rain chances will continue tonight, with
overnight low temperatures in the low to mid 70s. Severe weather
is not expected today or tonight, but some of this activity may
produce locally heavy rainfall.

Thunderstorm chances will remain relatively high through the
remainder of the week, continuing through the weekend.
Temperatures will run a few degrees below normal, with highs in
the mid and upper 80s and lows in the mid 70s.
