AN UNSETTLED WEATHER PATTERN WILL SET UP OVER THE MIDSOUTH TODAY AND
WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE WEEKEND INTO AT LEAST EARLY NEXT WEEK.
THE WEATHER PATTERN WILL BE CAUSED BY AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH THAT WILL
MOVE OVER THE AREA TODAY AND WILL REMAIN NEARLY STATIONARY INTO EARLY
NEXT WEEK. IN ADDITION...A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE SOUTHWARD INTO THE
MIDSOUTH BY THE WEEKEND. THE COMBINATION WILL SET OFF SCATTERED TO
NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH BEST CHANCES OCCURRING OVER
THE WEEKEND.
