...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHWESTERN PERQUIMANS...
NORTHEASTERN BERTIE AND CHOWAN COUNTIES...

At 616 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Colerain...or
11 miles northeast of Windsor, moving east at 30 mph.

Wind gusts in excess of 40 mph are possible with this storm.

This storm will be near...
  Rockyhock around 625 PM EDT.
  Valhalla around 630 PM EDT.
  Cape Colony around 640 PM EDT.
  Hertford around 655 PM EDT.
  Snug Harbor and Burgess around 700 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Goose Pond...Whites
Crossroads...Smalls Crossroads...Merry Hill...Drummond Point...
Mavaton...Arrowhead Beach...Edenhouse...Saint Johns and Mill
Crossroads.

If you see lightning or hear thunder...you are at risk. Take shelter
indoors immediately. If you cannot find shelter in a building a
vehicle provides safety from lightning.

Strong wind gusts are possible with this storm. These wind gusts are
capable of knocking down tree limbs...small or weakened trees...and
blowing around trash cans...potted plants...lawn furniture and other
light outdoor objects.
