WAYNE COUNTY IN WEST VIRGINIA UNTIL 945 PM EDT...

AT 918 PM EDT...AN AREA OF SHOWERS WAS LOCATED ALONG A LINE FROM
GENOA TO HOUCKVILLE. THESE SHOWERS ARE NEARLY STATIONARY.

HEAVY RAIN WILL FALL FROM THESE SHOWERS...WITH RATES AROUND ONE INCH

ROADSIDE DITCHES AND SMALL STREAMS. THIS COULD BE ENHANCED IN VERY
LOCALIZED AREA BY THE SLOW TO STATIONARY MOVEMENT OF THESE SHOWERS.
THE HEAVIEST RAIN HAS FALLEN BETWEEN GENOA AND CENTERVILLE IN WAYNE
COUNTY AND AROUND WEBVILLE AND HOUCKVILLE IN LAWRENCE COUNTY.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE ELEVATED LEVELS ON
SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...AND PONDING OF WATER ON COUNTRY ROADS AND
FARMLAND ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS. DO NOT DRIVE INTO
FLOODED ROADWAYS.
