SURF ALONG NORTH FACING SHORES WILL BE 3 TO 5 FEET TONIGHT AND 2 TO 4 FEET
FRIDAY...BUILDING LATE FRIDAY NIGHT.

SURF ALONG WEST FACING SHORES WILL BE 2 TO 4 FEET TONIGHT AND 1 TO 3 FEET
FRIDAY...BUILDING LATE FRIDAY NIGHT.

SURF ALONG EAST FACING SHORES WILL BE 1 TO 3 FEET THROUGH FRIDAY.

7 FEET FRIDAY.

OUTLOOK THROUGH THURSDAY MAY 04:
A SERIES OF MODERATE NORTHWEST AND NORTH SWELLS ARRIVES FRIDAY
AFTERNOON AND SUNDAY NIGHT, RESPECTIVELY. A GRADUAL DECLINE FOLLOWS
THEREAFTER. THE SOUTH FACING SHORES WILL HAVE SOME ACTION WITH THE
FIRST OF TWO SOUTH SWELLS ARRIVING TONIGHT AND PEAKING FRIDAY NEAR THE
ADVISORY LEVEL OF 8 FEET. THE SECOND SOUTH SWELL COMES IN MONDAY NIGHT
AND TUESDAY, BUT ITS IMPACT WILL BE SMALL FOR OAHU AS MOST OF THE
ENERGY STAYS TO THE EAST. WITH THE TRADE WINDS TAKING A BREAK FOR THE
WEEKEND...THE SURF ALONG THE EAST FACING SHORES WILL BECOME SMALLER
FRIDAY.

SURF HEIGHTS ARE FORECAST HEIGHTS OF THE FACE OR FRONT OF WAVES. THE
SURF FORECAST IS BASED ON THE SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT...THE AVERAGE
HEIGHT OF THE ONE THIRD LARGEST WAVES...AT THE LOCATIONS OF THE LARGEST
BREAKERS. SOME WAVES MAY BE MORE THAN TWICE AS HIGH AS THE
SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT. EXPECT TO ENCOUNTER RIP CURRENTS IN OR NEAR
ANY SURF ZONE.
