The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Davie County in the Piedmont of North Carolina...

* Until 430 PM EDT

* At 403 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles northeast
  of Mocksville, or near Bermuda Run, moving east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
           damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
  Mocksville, Bermuda Run, Fork Church, Advance and Farmington.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A few trees and power lines will be blown down in the warned area.
Hail can cause major property damage, especially to vehicles. Seek
shelter inside an interior room.
