This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
There are low chances for thunderstorms this afternoon and evening
along and north of a line from Cisco to Waxahachie to Canton. Storms
that develop or move into locations north of Interstate 20 this
afternoon and evening may be severe with a threat for large hail,
damaging winds and a tornado or two.

Late tonight, the chance for storms will spread south to a
Goldthwaite to Hillsboro to Athens line. The threat for severe
storms will diminish after midnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Thunderstorm chances will increase Saturday as a strong upper low
and cold front approach the area. Some storms could become severe,
especially along and east of the Interstate 35 corridor Saturday
afternoon and evening. Large hail, damaging winds and a tornado or
two will be possible during this time. Heavy rainfall may also
result in localized flash flooding along and east of Interstate 35.
Main stem river flooding from the Trinity River Basin eastward may
also occur. Most of the thunderstorm activity will taper off from
west to east late Saturday night, but some storms producing small
hail may linger into Sunday morning.

Thunderstorm chances will return late Tuesday night through Wednesday
night as another upper level system combines with yet another cold
front.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Limited spotter activation may be requested late this afternoon and
evening north of Interstate 20.
