Quite a hot week is on the way...with high temperatures reaching the
upper 90s to low 100s by the middle of the week. The best chances
for rain and thunderstorms will occur today and Tuesday. A few
strong to severe storms are possible this afternoon and evening. The
main threats are hail to the size of quarters and up to 60 MPH wind
gusts. Locally excessive rain and flooding is possible as well.
After Tuesday...little to no additional rain is expected through the
rest of the work week.
