Weather Summary for Portions of the Central Plains

After a very wet night across much of the forecast area...expect a
return to more periodic chances for thunderstorms along with near
normal temperatures through the upcoming weekend. While multiple
disturbances will brush the plains through the period...widespread
or severe thunderstorms are not expected at this time. While
temperatures will be a few degrees below normal this
afternoon...temperatures will warm into the mid 80s to lower 90s
across the local area by Thursday afternoon...with these near normal
temperatures expected to persist into at least early next week.
