NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HASTINGS NE
600 AM CST SUN DEC 21 2014

DRY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA TODAY...AS IS THE PARTLY
TO MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES. PRECIPITATION CHANCES WILL WORK THEIR WAY
BACK INTO THE AREA TONIGHT AS AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE MOVES
IN...WITH THOSE CHANCES LINGERING ON INTO MONDAY AND TUESDAY.
TONIGHT...PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO FALL AS RAIN...WHILE A COLD
FRONT MOVING THROUGH ON MONDAY WILL USHER IN A BETTER CHANCE FOR
SNOW. SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS ARE NOT EXPECTED...BUT ANY SNOW THAT
DOES FALL WILL BE BLOWN AROUND BY INCREASING NORTHWESTERLY WINDS
BEHIND THE FRONT. DRY CONDITIONS LOOK TO RETURN FOR CHRISTMAS EVE
DAY AND FOR MOST OF THE DAY ON CHRISTMAS...BEFORE ANOTHER UPPER
LEVEL DISTURBANCE BRINGS THE NEXT CHANCE FOR SNOW.
