Rain is moving across the area and will persist into the afternoon
hours. There will be a chance for a few isolated to scattered
thunderstorms between 2 and 6pm. Some of these storms could be
strong to severe. The main threats are hail up to nickel to quarter
size with damaging winds to 60 mph. Southerly winds are strong in
north central Kansas. The rain will come to an end this evening.
