Weather Summary for Portions of the Central Plains

Another round of severe weather is possible for the area Thursday
afternoon and evening especially south of Interstate-80 as another
weather system impacts the area. The greatest risk for severe
weather appears to be in north central Kansas where hail up to 2
inches...60 mph wind gusts...and a tornado or 2 are possible.
Further north into Nebraska...a couple severe storms are possible
with hail up to 1 inch and 50 mph wind gusts being the primary
threats especially south of Interstate-80.  A flash flood watch will
also be in effect from Thursday evening through Saturday morning.
Flash flooding will be possible under any of the heaviest storms
tomorrow night.
