A cool front will cross the region tonight...with high pressure
briefly building in tomorrow. This will cool high temperatures back
into the 60s. The front will become stationary across Kansas.
Multiple weak low pressure areas will form on the front Friday night
into Saturday...but they will eventually consolidate into a stronger
low over Wyoming by Saturday evening. This will bring a threat for
scattered showers and thunderstorms...with the best chance southeast
of the Tri-Cities...from roughly Osborne Kansas to Hebron Nebraska.
Windy conditions will develop Saturday afternoon...with gusts up to
40 mph likely. Strong high pressure will build into the region
Sunday...with decreasing winds...and pleasant weather.
