Weather Summary for Portions of the Central Plains

The snow showers that swept across the region Wednesday afternoon
and evening...occurred along a strong cold front. The air behind
this front is the coldest of the season. Low temperatures Thursday
morning will be in the single digits and teens. With winds between 6
and 10 mph...this will push wind chills down to near zero...and even
a little below zero...along and north of Interstate 80. Tomorrow
will be sunny for much of the day...but clouds will begin to
increase in the afternoon. High temperatures will be the coldest so
far this season...with highs only in the lower to middle 30s.
