Weather Summary for Portions of the Central Plains

Overnight a chance for rain and freezing rain will exist mainly
north of Interstate 80 from 2am to 5am. Around 6am temperatures are
expected to gradually rise to above freezing and any precipitation
that falls should fall in the form of rain. By mid-morning Tuesday
clouds should begin to clear out and mostly sunny skies will be over
the area. The winds are expected to be west southwest at 10 to 20
mph. Tuesday will be the warmest day of the week with highs ranging
from the low 40s to the low 50s. A cold front moves through the area
Wednesday and high temperatures will range from the low 20s over
northern Nebraska to the low 40s over northern Kansas.
