It looks to be a windy end to the week across the region...with
precipitation chances mainly for areas along and east of Highway
281. On Friday...strong southerly winds are expected...with
sustained speeds of 20 to 25 MPH and gusts over 35 MPH possible. A
cold front swinging through Saturday morning will switch the winds
to the northwest...remaining gusty through the day. High
temperatures on Friday will again be well above normal in the mid to
upper 70s...with Saturday highs topping out in the 60s. This frontal
passage will bring the chance for showers and thunderstorms...mainly
Friday night through Saturday.
