A COLD FRONT WAS MAKING ITS WAY THROUGH THE REGION THIS AFTERNOON.
THIS FRONT WILL BE THE FOCUS FOR A FEW THUNDERSTORMS AFTER 4 PM...
EAST OF A LINE FROM FULLERTON TO HASTINGS TO BEAVER CITY IN
NEBRASKA...AND INTO NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS. SOME STORMS COULD BE
SEVERE. AHEAD OF THE FRONT...BREEZY SOUTH WINDS WILL GUST 20 TO 30
MPH. THESE WINDS WILL SUBSIDE AS THE FRONT APPROACHES...AND THEN
WINDS WILL SHIFT TO THE NORTHWEST BEHIND THE FRONT. HIGH
TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL BE IN THE MID 80S TO LOWER 90S. TEMPERATURES
WILL TURN MUCH COOLER TOMORROW...WITH HIGHS IN THE 70S. NEXT
WEEK...TEMPERATURES GRADUALLY WARMING THROUGH THE 80S...WITH DRY
WEATHER EXPECTED THROUGH DAYTIME HOURS WEDNESDAY.
