AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE BROUGHT STRONG THUNDERSTORMS TO PORTIONS
OF THE AREA THIS MORNING. HOWEVER...AS THE BACKSIDE OF THIS LOW
SLIPS SOUTHEAST...COLDER AIR HAS TURNED RAIN OVER TO SNOW IN SEVERAL
LOCATIONS. AREAS FURTHER WEST HAVE REPORTED SNOW AMOUNTS NEAR 1 TO 2
INCHES IN PLACES. SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO SHIFT SOUTHEAST RESULTING IN
ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 4 INCHES ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA. A
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY HAS BEEN POSTED FOR SEVERAL LOCATIONS.
STRONG NORTH WINDS WILL ALSO CONTINUE THIS EVENING ACROSS ALL OF
SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.
