Weather Summary for Portions of the Central Plains
National Weather Service Hastings NE
841 PM CST Sat Feb 18 2017

Expect some morning fog...especially for areas along and south of a
line from Beaver City to Osceola Nebraska...which includes north
central Kansas. Visibility of less than a mile is possible. Above
average temperatures will continue as highs reach the mid to upper
60s Sunday. There will be a slight chance of thunderstorms...mainly
late Sunday night after midnight. Breezy west to northwest winds are
expected Monday...along with a slight chance of showers. Highs will
be in the mid to upper 60s. Tuesday will be quite warm with highs in
the mid to upper 70s...and another warm and dry Wednesday will
follow with highs near 70 to the lower 70s. Although plenty of
uncertainty remains in the forecast past Wednesday...there is the
potential for a strong system to affect the region Thursday and
Friday...bringing the chance for accumulating snowfall and strong
northwest winds.
