Weather Summary for Portions of the Central Plains

Patchy morning fog is expected this morning with visibilities
dropping down to a half mile in places. Above normal temperatures
are expect today with highs in the upper 80s to the mid 90s. Windy
and dry conditions will make for an elevated fire danger across the
region as southerly winds will be gusting to 30mph this afternoon.
Temperatures will cool back closer to normal on Wednesday behind a
passing cold front...but a quick rebound to near or above 90 degrees
is expected for the end of the week. This weekend...expect a major
change in the local weather pattern...with cloudy...wet and humid
conditions overtaking the region.
