This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Critical to extremely critical fire weather conditions will
likely develop Thursday afternoon and evening across all of the
Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles due to strong winds and low relative
humidity values. A Red Flag Warning is in effect from 10 AM to 9
PM Thursday. A High Wind Watch is in effect for the central and
western panhandles from 12 PM to 6 PM Thursday. Winds could be
gusting as high as 60 MPH Thursday afternoon. Elevated to critical
fire weather conditions will be possible during the afternoons on


Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.

Area fire managers and emergency officials across the Oklahoma and
Texas Panhandles should be alert for critical fire weather
conditions Thursday and Friday afternoons.
