This hazardous weather outlook is for east central...north
central and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected this morning across north
central and northeast Kansas mainly before sunrise. A few of these
storms may produce strong wind gusts especially in far northeast
Kansas. There is a small chance for thunderstorms across the
entire area this afternoon and tonight. A few isolated storms this
afternoon could be capable of producing large hail and strong
wind gusts mainly across east central Kansas.

Afternoon heat indices are forecast to peak from 100 to 105.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Thunderstorms are possible Monday afternoon and become likely
Monday night into Tuesday morning. Some of these storms could be
strong to severe and produce locally heavy rainfall.


Spotter activation should not be needed through tonight.
