Isolated to scattered showers will persist across the South
Plains, Rolling Plains, and extreme Southern Panhandle through 8
PM. These showers will move slowly and will tend to dissipate
within 45 minutes of the time they begin producing rainfall. Areas
that receive rainfall will mainly receive 1/4 inch or less,
although the heaviest showers will be capable of producing 3/4
inch or more. Some cloud to ground lightning and wind gusts to 40
mph will be possible in or near these showers.
