Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley
National Weather Service La Crosse WI
445 AM CDT Sun Sep 25 2016

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms pushed into portions of
northeast Iowa and southeast Minnesota during the overnight hours
ahead of a cold front moving across the Northern and Central Plains.
Temperatures early this morning ranged from the upper 50s to the
upper 60s.

The cold front will push across the area today...continuing the
scattered shower and isolated thunderstorm activity. A few of these
showers and storms may be capable of localized heavy downpours with
up to 1 inch amounts possible. A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect
today for much of the area. Otherwise...plan on highs in the upper
60s to the middle 70s.

Mostly cloudy and breezy conditions will be seen tonight with some
shower chances lingering mainly north of I-94. Look for overnight
lows in the upper 40s to the lower 50s.
