AREAS OF FOG HAVE DEVELOPED ACROSS THE REGION EARLY THIS MORNING. IT
WAS DENSE ACROSS PARTS OF MINNESOTA AND IOWA...CREEPING INTO PARTS
OF FAR WESTERN WISCONSIN. DENSE FOG ADVISORIES ARE IN EFFECT THROUGH
MID MORNING...MOSTLY WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER...TO COVER THE
RELATED FOG HAZARDS. LOW TEMPERATURES SO FAR THIS MORNING RANGED
FROM THE LOW 50S OVER NORTHERN WISCONSIN...TO THE LOW 60S ACROSS
EASTERN IOWA.

RAIN WILL ADVANCE NORTHEAST OUT OF THE PLAIN STATES
TODAY...GRADUALLY SPREADING ACROSS THE UPPER MISSISSIPPI RIVER
VALLEY LATER THIS AFTERNOON. RAIN WILL FALL THIS EVENING...EASING
EASTWARD OVERNIGHT. HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL RANGE FROM NEAR 60
OVER NORTHERN WISCONSIN...TO THE UPPER 70S OVER EASTERN IOWA. LOWS
TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM NEAR 40 OVER NORTHERN MINNESOTA...TO NEAR 50
OVER EASTERN IOWA.

COLD AND WINDY CONDITIONS WILL MAKE FOR A RAW DAY FRIDAY...WITH
HIGHS AROUND 50 AND WIND GUSTS UPWARD OF 30 MPH. THE COLD CONDITIONS
WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE WEEKEND.
