Weather Summary for the MidSouth

A large upper level low pressure system will drop south from the
Great Lakes into the Ohio Valley today. An associated surface cold
front will drop through the Midsouth late this afternoon, bringing a
reinforcing push of cool and drier air.

Daytime temperatures will return to below normal levels on Thursday,
with increased clouds helping to keep temperatures below normal
through Saturday. Midsouth rain chances will remain limited over
areas outside of the Tennessee River Valley.

Above normal temperatures will return to the Midsouth by Sunday, and
persist through at least the middle part of next week.
