Weather Summary for the MidSouth
National Weather Service Memphis TN
353 AM CST Fri Dec 9 2016

Arctic high pressure will move into the Mid-South today and will
provide chilly temperatures to the area. Highs will be in the mid
to upper 30s.

The high will begin to shift east on Saturday. As a result, a
gradual warming trend is expected to occur over the weekend. Highs
will return to the 50s by Sunday. However, rain chances will
begin to occur on Sunday ahead of an approaching cold front. The
chances for rain will continue through Monday.

Not much of a cool down is expected behind the front as
highs will remain in the 50s. However, a reinforcing cold front
will move into the Mid-South on Wednesday. Arctic air will return
to the area behind this front. Small rain chances will occur ahead
of the front.
