Weather Summary for the MidSouth

A few thunderstorms will be possible across portions of east-
central Arkansas and north Mississippi through this evening, but
most of the Mid-South will remain dry. Only a few spotty showers
and thunderstorms are anticipated on Wednesday, but rain chances
ramp up Wednesday night as the next system approaches the area.
Some storms may be strong to severe Wednesday evening. Additional
thunderstorms are expected on Thursday into Friday, with
generally dry weather for much of the weekend.

Above normal temperatures are anticipated through the week. Highs
will generally be in the 70s with some areas likely warming into
the lower to middle 80s by Wednesday. Low temperatures will be in
the 50s most nights.
