IN THE UPPER 80S AND LOWER 90S. A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE
IN THE HEAT OF THE DAY...ESPECIALLY SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 40.

ADDITIONAL SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY OCCUR TONIGHT...
COURTESY OF AN ACTIVE JET STREAM EXTENDING INTO THE MIDSOUTH FROM
THE CENTRAL PLAINS. RAIN CHANCES WILL PEAK WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY...
WITH THE APPROACH OF COLD FRONT AND UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE. THIS
FRONT WILL BECOME STATIONARY OVER THE MIDSOUTH...PROVIDING A FOCUS
FOR THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH THE WEEKEND.

SLIGHTLY COOLER THAN NORMAL TEMPERATURES ARE FORECAST FOR THE LATTER
