High pressure off the New England coast will keep the area dry
tonight. A south to southwesterly flow will allow for warmer
temperatures tonight than last night. Temperatures will drop into
the 20s in the outlying areas, 30s along the coast, and lower to
middle 40s for the New York City metro area. Skies will be clear.

A cold front will approach on Saturday. Continued southwesterly
flow will mean seasonably warm temperatures, in the 50s region-
wide. Clouds will be on the increase from mid-morning onward, with
mostly cloudy skies expected by late afternoon. There will be a
chance for rain showers mainly in the afternoon and into the first
half of Saturday night. The cold front will move through during
the evening and nighttime hours, allowing winds to shift to the
west, then northwest.

High pressure will build in behind the cold front on Sunday.
Conditions will be breezy on a northwest flow, which will usher in
a cooler air mass. Highs on Sunday and into the beginning of next
week will slightly below normal, generally in the 40s region-
