...AREAS OF DENSE FOG ACROSS THE PIEDMONT...

AREAS OF DENSE FOG HAVE DEVELOPED OVER PORTIONS OF THE EASTERN
VIRGINIA PIEDMONT. VISIBILITIES HAVE LOWERED TO LESS THAN ONE HALF
MILE IN MANY LOCATIONS WITH NEAR ZERO VISIBILITY AT TIMES. THE FOG
IS EXPECTED TO SLOWLY LIFT THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS.

MOTORISTS MAY EXPERIENCE RAPID CHANGES IN VISIBILITY IN SHORT
DISTANCES RESULTING IN POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS.
MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO BE ALERT AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING THIS
MORNING. USE LOW BEAM HEADLAMPS...SLOW DOWN AND ALLOW PLENTY OF
EXTRA TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION.
