...Moderate Risk of Rip Currents Today...

Rip Current Risk:      Moderate Risk. Life threatening rip currents are
                       possible in the surf zone. Remember to swim near
                       a lifeguard and with a non-inflatable flotation
                       device, such as a life jacket or boogie board.

Lightning Risk:       None.

Ultraviolet Index:     Extreme. Wear a wide-brimmed hat and
                       sunglasses, and use sunscreen of SPF 15
                       or higher. Remain in the shade if possible.

Weather:               Breezy, partly cloudy.

Temperatures:          Mid 90s. Heat Index 110 to 115.

Wind:                  Southeast 20 to 25 mph.

Wave Heights:          3 to 6 feet.

Surf Temperature:      84 degrees.

Bay Temperature:       86 degrees.

Tides:                 A high at 5 36 am. A low at 9 O5 pm.

Outlook:               An elevated risk of rip currents will
                       continue through Saturday and again
                       Thursday. The chance of showers and
                       thunderstorms returns Saturday and
                       continues into mid next week due to an
                       inverted trough of low pressure,
                       increased moisture, and an approaching
                       frontal boundary.
