...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of western Buchanan,
northern Iowa and Benton Counties through 900 PM CDT...

At 753 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 5 miles west of La Porte City to near Brooklyn.
Movement was east at 45 mph.  These storms have a history of
producing 40 to 50 mph gusts across central Iowa.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Strong winds could break small tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Independence, Vinton, Marengo, Belle Plaine, Jesup, Atkins, Walford,
Urbana, Dysart, Shellsburg, Victor, Newhall, Hazleton, Blairstown,
Van Horne, Keystone, Norway, Garrison, Brandon, and Ladora.

This includes Interstate 380 between mile markers 39 and 55.
