...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of central and
southern Bureau and Putnam Counties through 745 PM CDT...

At 657 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Walnut to 6 miles east of Bradford.
Movement was east at 50 mph. These storms produced a 50 mph gust
near Kewanee earlier.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Strong winds could break small tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Princeton, Hennepin, Spring Valley, DePue, Granville, Ladd, Wyanet,
Tiskilwa, Dalzell, Bureau Junction, McNabb, Putnam, Mark, Cherry,
Malden, Seatonville, Standard, Milo, Arlington, and Dover.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
