This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

There is a chance of freezing drizzle over north central and
central Wisconsin this morning. Roads may become icy in spots,
resulting in locally hazardous travel conditions for the morning
commute to work and school.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Hazardous travel is possible Wednesday night across Vilas county.
Lake-effect snow showers may bring snow accumulations of 1 to 2
inches to northwest Vilas county, with less than inch across the
southern portion of the county.

Hazardous travel is possible late Thursday night into Friday
morning across north-central and far northeast Wisconsin. A
wintry mix is expected to overspread the region late Thursday
night and continue into early Friday morning. The precipitation
is then expected to be mainly rain Friday afternoon. Travel
may become hazardous again Friday night north and west of the
Fox Valley as the rain changes back to snow and temperatures
fall below freezing.

The low pressure system that will bring the mixed precipitation
to the area will also produce gusty south winds on Friday. As the
low departs the area over the weekend, gusty northwest winds
are expected later Friday night into Sunday that may impact
travel for high profile vehicles.

Spotters should relay any reports of freezing drizzle or hazardous
road conditions to the National Weather Service this morning.
