This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A wind chill advisory remains in effect for north central and
central Wisconsin this morning. With wind chills of 20 to 30
below zero, frostbite may occur on exposed skin within 30 minutes.

Very cold temperatures or wind chills will continue tonight into
Sunday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A prolonged period of snow is expected to begin later Sunday
afternoon or evening, and continue into Monday night. A
widespread 3 to 6 inch snowfall is expected, except for 6 to 8
inches across the lakeshore counties. Locally higher amounts are
possible across Door county if an organized lake effect snow band
moves onshore. Snowfall totals will also be locally higher across
the snowbelt region of northwest Vilas county, where accumulations
of 5 to 9 inches are anticipated.

The snow will cause untreated roads, bridges and sidewalks to
become slippery, resulting in hazardous travel conditions.


Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.

Michigan and the waters of Green Bay.
