Skies remained cloudy across the area this afternoon as rain
spread across western Wisconsin. Temperatures were mild for
February and ranged from the upper 40s to the upper 50s.
A cold front will move across the area this evening and overnight
which will bring widespread rain and possibly a few
thunderstorms. Fog development is also possible overnight. The
rain will end by Tuesday morning and skies will become mostly
sunny. Unseasonably mild temperatures continue, with record or
near- record highs possible through Wednesday. Highs during this
period will be in the 50s with some lower 60s possible, except
cooler near Lake Michigan.
A stronger storm system will bring heavy snow and a wintry mix
for Thursday night through Friday night. Temperatures will return
to more seasonal values this weekend.
