Weather Summary for North-Central and Northeast Wisconsin
National Weather Service Green Bay WI
331 AM CDT WED OCT 26 2016
Through the early overnight hours, an area of low pressure moved
east over eastern Nebraska and into western Iowa. Ahead of the
low, widespread showers and thunderstorms pushed across southwest
Wisconsin and into central Wisconsin. Conditions were generally
mostly cloudy and quiet over northeast Wisconsin though,
protected somewhat by dry air. Temperatures held fairly steady and
ranged from the middle 30s over far northern Wisconsin to the
middle 40s over central Wisconsin.
The rain will eventually spread across the entire area early this
morning. Rain will be heavy at times with totals up to 1 to 2
inches expected for much of central and eastern Wisconsin today.
After the rain tapers off tonight, drier conditions will move in
for the end of the week.
