Thunderstorms were occurring across northern door county this
afternoon, with scattered showers elsewhere. Areas of dense fog
continued along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Locations away from
Lake Michigan had temperatures mainly in the upper 60s to upper
70s this afternoon, with dew points in the 60s.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue through late
tonight, and chances for more showers and storms are again
expected through at least Sunday. Some of the stronger storms
could produce small hail, gusty winds and torrential downpours.
Temperatures should be well above normal through Memorial Day.
If you have outdoor plans this weekend, remember to take shelter
from lightning in a vehicle or indoors during thunderstorms.
