Weather Summary for North-Central and Northeast Wisconsin
National Weather Service Green Bay WI
307 AM CDT Fri Mar 15 2024
Skies have remained mostly clear overnight, besides a thin stripe
of high clouds along a Marshfield to Crivitz line. Temperatures
as of 3am have fallen into the low 20s across the Northwoods and
the mid 20s to low 30s further south.
Conditions are expected to remain quiet Friday as high pressure
slides across the region. Skies today should remain mostly clear,
except for far northern WI where a cloud deck is expected to
develop this morning. High temperatures this afternoon are
expected to reach the upper 40s to mid 50s, except along the
lakeshore where temperatures will be capped in the low 40s.
Next chance for precipitation comes this weekend as a system drops
south of Canada. Best chances for rain and snow will be across
northern Wisconsin Saturday. The snowbelt region of northern WI
does have a chance for some accumulating lake effect snow Saturday
through Monday, but snow totals are not expected to be much more
than an inch.
