WEATHER SUMMARY FOR NORTH-CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST WISCONSIN
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GREEN BAY WI
843 PM CDT TUE AUG 26 2014

THROUGH THE MIDDLE EVENING HOURS...CANADIAN HIGH PRESSURE
PREVAILED ACROSS THE NORTHERN GREAT PLAINS AND WESTERN GREAT
LAKES. SKIES WERE MOSTLY CLEAR OVER NORTH-CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST
WISCONSIN THANKS TO THIS HIGH PRESSURE...BUT A FAIRLY ROBUST UPPER
LEVEL DISTURBANCE WAS MOVING INTO THE NORTHERN MISSISSIPPI VALLEY
AND SPREADING RAIN SHOWERS INTO CENTRAL MINNESOTA. CLOUDS WERE
INCREASING ACROSS WESTERN WISCONSIN AHEAD OF THIS SYSTEM AND WILL
LIKELY MOVE INTO CENTRAL AND EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE BADGER STATE
LATER TONIGHT. A FEW SHOWERS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE LATE OVER NORTH-
CENTRAL WISCONSIN.

ANY SHOWERS SHOULD EXIT EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING...LEAVING A QUIET
AND PLEASANT AFTERNOON AND NIGHT. THE NEXT CHANCE OF WIDESPREAD
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ON THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT AS A WARM
FRONT LIFTS TOWARD THE AREA.
