WEATHER SUMMARY FOR NORTH-CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST WISCONSIN

THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS...A STRONG COLD FRONT MOVED SOUTH INTO
FAR NORTHERN WISCONSIN AND THE UPPER PENINSULA. A FEW THUNDERSTORMS
DEVELOPED OVER EASTERN LAKE SUPERIOR ALONG THE FRONT.
OTHERWISE...IT WAS A BAND OF LIGHT RAIN WHICH RESIDED BEHIND THE
FRONT THAT PROVIDED PRECIPITATION FROM ASHLAND AND HAYWARD TO
HOUGHTON MICHIGAN. QUIET CONDITIONS PREVAILED ACROSS MUCH OF
CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST WISCONSIN UNDER CLEAR SKIES. TEMPERATURES
REMAINED IN THE 50S AT MOST LOCATIONS.

AS THE COLD FRONT DROPS SOUTH ACROSS THE REGION TODAY...THE BAND
OF SHOWERS WILL IMPACT NORTHERN WISCONSIN THIS MORNING...AND
CENTRAL TO NORTHEAST WISCONSIN THIS AFTERNOON. NORTHEAST WINDS
WILL ALSO BECOME GUSTY BEHIND THE FRONT...AS IT USHERS IN A CHILLY
AIRMASS. MUCH COOLER TEMPERATURES WILL INVADE THE REGION FOR TOMORROW...WITH
HIGHS ONLY IN THE 50S AND 60S EXPECTED. A CHANCE OF RAIN THEN
RETURNS FOR WEDNESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.
