At 1130 pm, steady but mainly light snow was falling across much
of Wisconsin. The northern edge of the snow band extended from
Tomahawk to Antigo to Sturgeon Bay, and was advancing north at
about 15 mph. Snow should begin in the Rhinelander, Crandon,
Wausaukee, and Marinette areas by 100 am, and then reach the far
northeast corner of the state by late tonight.

The snow band will produce steady snows the rest of the night.
With temperatures in the single digits across northern Wisconsin,
and in the teens in central and east-central Wisconsin, the snow
will accumulate on roads, leading to hazardous travel conditions.
By daybreak, snowfalls are expected to range from less than an
inch over the far north near the Upper Michigan border, to 3 to 4
inches in the Wisconsin Rapids, Wautoma, and Oshkosh areas.

Travel conditions are likely to deteriorate overnight as the snow
continues. If you are traveling tonight, use extra caution and be
sure to allow extra travel time to reach your destination.
