...The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Iowa...Illinois...

  Iowa River at Marengo affecting Iowa County
  Iowa River near Lone Tree affecting Johnson...Louisa and Washington
  Counties
  Iowa River at Wapello affecting Louisa County
  Pecatonica River at Freeport affecting Stephenson County

.Heavy rainfall of 1 to 2 inches on top of frozen ground has caused
 rivers to rise rapidly.

River forecasts include past precipitation and forecast rainfall for
the next 48 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternate route. Turn around, don`t drown.

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a
* Flood Warning for
  The Iowa River at Marengo.
* Until Thursday.
* At  3:00 PM Tuesday the stage was 13.1 feet...and falling.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage this afternoon and continue
  rising to 15.4 feet Wednesday morning. The river will fall below
  flood stage Thursday.
* Impact...At  14.0 feet, Minor Flood Stage. Water affects low-lying
  agricultural land along the river.

* Until Wednesday.
* At  3:00 PM Tuesday the stage was 14.4 feet...and falling.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage this evening and continue rising
  to 15.6 feet Wednesday morning. The river will fall below flood
  stage Wednesday.
* Impact...At  15.0 feet, Water affects low lying roads.

  The Iowa River at Wapello.
* Until Thursday evening.
* At  3:00 PM Tuesday the stage was 14.4 feet...and rising.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage Wednesday and continue rising to
  20.7 feet Thursday morning. The river will fall below flood stage
  Thursday evening.
* Impact...At  20.0 feet, Minor Flood Stage. Agricultural land near
  the river is flooded and water covers most islands. Water starts
  rising onto secondary roads in Wapello Bottoms.

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a
* Flood Warning for
  The Pecatonica River at Freeport.
* Until Tuesday morning.
* At  2:30 PM Tuesday the stage was 12.1 feet...and rising.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage Wednesday morning and continue
  rising to 13.9 feet Sunday morning. The river will fall below
  flood stage Tuesday morning.
* Impact...At  14.0 feet, Minor street flooding begins in Freeport
  and water affects a few back yards east of the Pecatonica River.
