This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Nevada...north
central Nevada...northeast Nevada...northwest Nevada and south
central Nevada.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

No significant weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
A series of weak systems moves through Thursday and Friday with
no consequences. The bigger impacts will come with a stronger
storm system will move in from the west Saturday. Expect strong
winds to develop each afternoon beginning Saturday afternoon and
continuing into Monday with brief lulls overnight. A wind advisory
may be needed as winds have the potential to gust 30-40 mph.
Expect strong winds to develop across western and central NV first
and then move into the eastern half of the state by Monday.

Precipitation will begin as rain starting Saturday afternoon and
continue into Sunday. As colder air infiltrates into the area
Sunday night into Monday expect rain to change over to snow in
many locations. Snowfall totals will be light with less than inch
expected in valleys and 1-2" in the mountains. The heaviest
precipitation will fall across northern Nevada.


Spotters are asked to report weather phenomena according to
standard operating procedure.
