Weather Summary for the MidSouth

An active weather pattern will set up over the Mid-South from
this weekend through the end of next week. Numerous rounds of
showers and thunderstorms will occur as a result.

The first round will occur late tonight into Saturday as an upper
level low pressure system approaches the area. Some storms could
be severe with best chances occurring on Saturday across North
Mississippi.

The next round will occur late Sunday Night through Monday
evening as another low pressure system is expected to move into
the Mid-South. Some thunderstorms could be severe with this system
as well.

Another round of showers and thunderstorms is expected Wednesday
Night through Thursday.

Temperatures will remain above normal over the next seven days
with highs ranging from the upper 60s to the upper 70s.
