Weather Summary for the local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
340 PM EDT Tue Oct 25 2016

High pressure is continuing to build into the local region
tonight, resulting in unseasonably cooler temperatures. Gusty
winds will diminish tonight, and decreasing clouds will lead to
temperatures reaching freezing for the interior sections. A freeze
warning has been issued for the interior, while elsewhere lows
will be mostly in the mid 30s to near 40s.

Another cool and sunny day tomorrow, with a breeze developing
during the afternoon. Highs will be in the 40s to around 50 for
the area.

The next chance of precipitation will be on Thursday as a frontal
system approaches from the west. Northwestern sections could see
some snow initially before changing over to all rain for the
afternoon, while the rest of the region will only see rain.
