THERE WILL BE A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EARLY TONIGHT
AS A COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH. SOME OF THESE STORMS COULD BECOME
SEVERE...WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND HEAVY RAIN BEING THE MAIN THREAT.
THE THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL DIMINISH AS THE SUN SETS.
DRY CONDITIONS WILL RETURN LATE TONIGHT AS THE COLD FRONT PUSHES
OFF THE EAST COAST AND HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS IN BEHIND IT. A
NOTICEABLY LESS HUMID AIRMASS WILL MOVE IN AS DEWPOINTS DROP INTO
THE 50S BY DAYBREAK FOR THE ENTIRE AREA. LOWS WILL BE COOLER IN
MANY SPOTS AS WINDS SHIFT TO THE NORTH AND USHER IN COOLER AIR.
EXPECT LOWS IN THE 50S AWAY FROM THE NYC METRO AREA...AND LOWS IN
THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 60S IN THE METRO AREA.

IT WILL REMAIN DRY FOR FRIDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE QUICKLY PUSHES OFF
THE EAST COAST AND WINDS SHIFT TO THE SOUTH. TEMPERATURES WILL
RANGE FROM THE 80S INLAND...TO THE 70S ALONG THE COAST.

THE WEEKEND WILL BRING ANOTHER CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS AS ANOTHER COLD FRONT APPROACHES THE REGION.
