OUT TO SEA TODAY AS A COLD FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE WEST. A WARM
AND HUMID AIR MASS REMAINS IN PLACE AS SOUTHERLY WIND AHEAD OF THE
FRONT BRING INCREASING MOISTURE INTO THE REGION. BY THIS AFTERNOON
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORM BECOME POSSIBLE...MAINLY ACROSS THE LOWER
HUDSON VALLEY...ACROSS NORTHEASTERN NEW JERSEY...AND INTO THE NYC
METRO. WITH LIMITED SUNSHINE HIGHS WILL RANGE IN THE LOWER TO MID
80S...AND HUMIDITY LEVELS BECOME UNCOMFORTABLE.

WITH THE FRONT MOVING INTO THE AREA TONIGHT AND MONDAY THE THREAT
FOR THUNDERSTORMS REMAINS. BY MONDAY AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS BECOME
LIKELY ALONG WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY RAINFALL. TEMPERATURES
TONIGHT FALL BACK INTO THE 70S...WITH LOWS IN THE LOWER 70S. MONDAYS
HIGHS WILL AGAIN BE IN THE LOWER TO MID 80S...WITH UPPER 70S ACROSS
EASTERN LONG ISLAND AND SOUTHEASTERN CONNECTICUT.
