SKIES WERE MOSTLY SUNNY ALONG THE COASTAL AREAS BUT BECAME VARIABLY
CLOUDY ACROSS THE INTERIOR AND WEST SECTION OF THE ISLANDS.
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WERE OBSERVED ACROSS
THE EASTERN THIRD OF PUERTO RICO DURING THE MORNING HOURS. DURING
THE AFTERNOON...SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED
ACROSS THE NORTH CENTRAL INTERIOR AND WEST SECTION OF PUERTO RICO.
SOME PRODUCED PERIODS OF LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS IN ISOLATED
AREAS AS THE ACTIVITY MOVED QUICKLY WESTWARD. AFTERNOON HIGH
TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE LOW 90S ALONG COASTAL AREAS. EXCEPT FOR
LOCAL SEA BREEZE VARIATIONS WINDS WERE FROM THE EAST SOUTHEAST 10
TO 15 MPH WITH OCCASIONALLY HIGHER GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH.

CLOUDINESS AND SHOWER ACTIVITY WILL QUICKLY DIMINISH AFTER SUNSET
BECOMING PARTLY CLOUDY TO MOSTLY CLEAR OVERNIGHT. A DRY AND DUSTY
AIR MASS IS FORECAST ONCE AGAIN DURING THE UPCOMING WEEKEND. RAPID
IMPROVEMENT IN THE WEATHER CONDITIONS AND DECREASING CLOUDINESS
AND LOW LEVEL MOISTURE IS FORECAST...AS THE SAHARAN AIR LAYER WILL
AGAIN SPREAD ACROSS THE REGION.

MARINERS CAN EXPECT SEAS UP TO 5 FEET WITH WINDS AROUND 10 TO 20
KNOTS OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS. SMALL CRAFT OPERATORS SHOULD EXERCISE
CAUTION DUE TO LOCALLY FRESH WINDS.
