PATCHES OF LOW TO MID LEVEL CLOUDS AND PASSING SHOWERS CONTINUED
TO MOVE WESTWARD ACROSS THE ISLANDS AND COASTAL WATERS DURING THE
DAY. SOME SHOWERS AFFECTED PARTS OF THE EAST INTERIOR AND NORTH
COASTAL SECTIONS OF THE ISLAND AS THEY QUICKLY STREAMED NORTHWEST.
AFTERNOON MOISTURE CONVERGENCE AND DAYTIME HEATING ALSO LEAD TO
SOME SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPMENT ACROSS PARTS OF
THE CENTRAL...WEST AND NORTHWEST SECTIONS OF THE ISLAND. EXCEPT
FOR LOCAL SEA BREEZE VARIATIONS...WINDS WERE FROM THE EAST
SOUTHEAST AT 10 TO 15 MPH WITH OCCASIONALLY HIGHER GUSTS.

CLOUDINESS AND SHOWERS ACTIVITY OVER LAND WILL DIMINISH BY THE
EARLY EVENING HOURS LEAVING PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND LITTLE OR NO
SHOWER ACTIVITY. DURING THE OVERNIGHT AND EARLY MORNING HOURS...THE
PREVAILING EAST SOUTHEAST WIND FLOW WILL CONTINUE TO TRANSPORT
FRAGMENTS OF LOW LEVEL MOISTURE ALONG WITH FEW SHOWERS ACROSS THE
COASTAL WATERS. SOME SHOWERS MAY AFFECT PARTS OF THE EAST AND
SOUTHEAST COASTAL SECTIONS OF THE ISLAND...BUT THEY WILL BE BRIEF
AND MOSTLY OF LIGHT INTENSITY. ON WEDNESDAY...LIMITED MOISTURE
ADVECTION IS FORECAST. AS A RESULT...EXPECT SOME DIURNALLY INDUCED
AFTERNOON CONVECTION MAINLY ACROSS PARTS OF THE CENTRAL AND WEST
INTERIOR SECTION OF THE ISLAND WITH A MODERATE CHANCE OF ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS.

TROPICAL DEPRESSION TWO CONTINUED TO MOVE QUICKLY WESTWARD...BASED
ON THE LATEST 500 PM AST ADVISORY ISSUED BY THE NATIONAL HURRICANE
CENTER. THE DEPRESSION WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 12.9 NORTH...
LONGITUDE 49.6 WEST WITH MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS NEAR 35 MPH. LITTLE
CHANGE IN STRENGTH IS EXPECTED THROUGH TOMORROW...BUT THE DEPRESSION
IS EXPECTED TO DEGENERATE INTO A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE ON
THURSDAY.

ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS...SEAS GENERALLY UP TO 5 FEET AND WINDS
19 KNOTS OR LESS ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE. THEREFORE...MARINERS
ARE URGED TO EXERCISE CAUTION.
