Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies will prevail today across the
Puerto Rico. Isolated to scattered showers will be possible today
due to moisture moving in from the east. Today maximum temperatures
will be near the low to mid 80s at lower elevations and from the mid
to upper 70s in higher elevations. Winds are expected to continue
from the east-northeast today at 15 to 20 mph with higher gusts

The local weather conditions are dominated by a strong upper level
ridge over the area. Under this ridge pattern aloft, continue to
expect fair weather conditions with trade wind showers at times as
well as locally induced showers across the southwest quadrant of
Puerto Rico each afternoon and pleasant daytime and overnight
temperatures during the next few days. A surface high pressure
across the northeast central Atlantic will maintain an east to
east-northeast wind flow across the region for the next few days.

Across the regional waters...Seas up to 7 feet will continue across
the Atlantic waters and local passages today. Winds will remain from
the east to east-northeast at 10 to 20 knots. For the beach goers,
there is a high risk of rip currents for the northern facing beaches
of northwest Puerto Rico while a low to moderate risk exists across
the rest of the beaches.
