WARM TEMPERATURES AND MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES PREVAILED DURING THE
MORNING HOURS FOLLOWED BY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE INTERIOR
ANS WESTERN MUNICIPALITIES. SOME OF THESE STORMS PRODUCED
HAIL...STRONG WINDS BETWEEN 30 AND 40 MPH AND HEAVY RAINFALL
ACTIVITY. LOCAL EMERGENCY MANAGERS REPORTED STRONG WINDS
DAMAGES...HAIL ACTIVITY AND URBAN FLOODING ACROSS THESE
MUNICIPALITIES. COASTAL MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES WERE FROM AROUND 90
DEGREES TO AROUND 80 DEGREES ACROSS THE MOUNTAINOUS AREAS. THE
WINDS WERE FROM THE EAST-SOUTHEAST AT 10 TO 15 MPH WITH SEA BREEZE
VARIATIONS AND HIGHER GUSTS NEAR SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY.

FOR TONIGHT...LIGHT PASSING SHOWERS ACROSS EASTERN PUERTO RICO
ARE EXPECTED FROM TIME TO TIME. ALTHOUGH...LOW MOISTURE CONTENT
IS EXPECTED TO PREVAIL ON FRIDAY...AFTERNOON CONVECTION IS POSSIBLE
ACROSS THE INTERIOR AND WESTERN PUERTO RICO. A SLIGHT INCREASE IN
MOISTURE CONTENT IS EXPECTED TO ENHANCE THE POTENTIAL FOR SHOWER
AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY BY SATURDAY AFTERNOON.

ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS...EXPECT SEAS MAINLY BETWEEN 2 AND 4
FEET AND EAST WINDS TO CONTINUE AT LESS THAN 15 KNOTS. INCLEMENT
WEATHER IS POSSIBLE WITH SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY.
