AT 400 PM...TROPICAL STORM CHAN-HOM (09W) WAS CENTERED AT ABOUT
14N145E HEADING NORTH NEAR ROTA. AS CHAN-HOM CONTINUES ON THIS
TRACK...RESIDENTS OF TINIAN AND SAIPAN CAN EXPECT PERIODS HEAVY
RAIN AND SOUTHEAST WINDS OF 35 MPH GUSTING TO 45 MPH THROUGH
TONIGHT.

CHAN-HOM IS EXPECTED TO TURN TOWARD THE NORTHWEST TONIGHT AND
HEAD AWAY FROM THE CNMI. GUSTY WINDS AND HEAVY RAIN WILL TAPER
OFF BY EARLY MONDAY MORNING.
