...Light Snow Expected through this Afternoon...

Precipitation was beginning to overspread portions of Southwest
Montana and along the Continental Divide this afternoon. While
precipitation may initially begin in the form of light rain at
mountain pass levels, it is expected to transition to snow. Light
snowfall accumulations are expected on road surfaces through this
afternoon, which will lead to slippery conditions. Visibilities
may also fall to as low as 1 mile at times in the heavier bursts
of snow. Finally, wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph will also be
possible, which will also contribute to low visibilities and
difficult driving conditions for high profile vehicles.
