Winds through mid-morning may be light and variable, but will eventually find a more consistent west to northwesterly fetch. By early afternoon we should see northwest winds increase up to 25 mph at times. Winds throughout the mixed layer indicate a northwesterly direction, and with mixing heights approaching 5500 ft AGL smoke dispersion should be excellent.
