...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Michigan, including the following
  county, Kalamazoo.

* WHEN...Until 1015 PM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 403 PM EDT, Radar and automated rain gauges indicated an
    additional 1 to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen in the last
    few hours. This is in addition to 1 to 2 inches of rain that
    fell early this morning. An additional 0.5 to 1.0 inches of
    rain are expected over the next 2 hours. This will cause
    urban and small stream flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Kalamazoo, Portage, Vicksburg, Galesburg, Parchment,
    Schoolcraft, Climax, Richland, Comstock Northwest, Westwood,
    Gull Lake, Augusta, Comstock, Scotts and Oshtemo.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
