...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in Southwest
Lower Michigan...

  Grand River At Robinson Township affecting Ottawa County

.Rain showers are expected tonight into Friday as a trough of low
pressure moves through the Great Lakes region. A quarter to a half
inch of rain is forecast through Friday evening, which may bring
additional rises to area rivers. The following forecast is based on
observed and forecast 48 hour precipitation. In addition, the forecast
at Robinson Township will be affected by the ice in the river. With
warming temperatures the next few days the ice may begin to break up,
melt and start to move.


Safety message...Motorists should not attempt to drive around
barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Grand River At Robinson Township.
* Until late Tuesday night.
* at  8:00 AM Thursday the stage was 13.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 13.3 feet.
* Minor Flooding is occurring and Minor Flooding is forecast.
* Forecast, the river will continue rising to near 14.0 feet by
  Saturday morning.  The river will fall below flood stage Tuesday
  early afternoon.
* Impact, at 13.9 feet...Several homes in Vanlopik subdivision are
  surrounded by water.
* Flood history, this crest compares to a previous crest of 14.2 feet
  on Jan 16 2016.
