A brief tornado touched down in Kent County near Perkins Avenue
NE between Leonard Street NE and Knapp Street NE. Tree damage and
some property damage from fallen trees occurred as the result of
this brief tornado.

There is preliminary evidence of additional tornado damage in Kent
County that was not the result of this tornado. A NWS storm survey
team will continue investigation on Monday and provide details on
the additional tornado damage when the survey is complete.
