...Water levels may approach or exceed bankfull over the next couple
days on the following rivers: Grand River at Lowell and Muskegon
River at Croton...

.Rainfall amounts ranging from a half inch to over one inch fell
across much of the area Thursday morning. Additional basin-average
rainfall of about a half-inch is expected especially in the upper
Grand and Kalamazoo river basins. This will lead to rises on some
rivers and prolong the stages above bankfull. The following forecast
is based on observed and forecast 24 hour precipitation.

For the Grand River At Lowell... no observed stage was available. No
flooding is forecast. The maximum stage forecasted is 10.3 feet
Sunday morning. Flood stage is 15.0 feet. Bankfull stage is 10 feet.

For the Muskegon River Near Croton... the latest stage was 7.6 feet
at 9 AM Thursday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecasted is 8.2 feet early Saturday morning. Flood stage is 9.0
feet. At 8.0 feet... River is bankfull.
