The National Weather Service in Columbia has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  East central Lexington County in central South Carolina...
  Central Richland County in central South Carolina...

* Until 300 PM EDT

* At 204 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small
  stream flooding in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Columbia, West Columbia, Cayce, Forest Acres, Springdale,
  Dentsville, Woodfields, Oak Grove, South Congaree, Pine Ridge,
  Arcadia Lakes, Woodfield and Five Points.

Additional rainfall of up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This
additional rain will result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
